Sainsbury Management Fellows Scholarship

This scholarship aids young engineers who possess leadership qualities to undertake full-time MBA courses at world-class international business schools. Ten young engineers with exceptional qualifications are awarded each year.

Grants to Exceptional Researchers

This plant science small grants program funds exceptional research projects that are unlikely to attract support from research councils or other funding agencies.

Sainsbury PhD Studentships

This program selects up to 3 postgraduate research students each year for students taking a PhD in plant sciences. The program provides an enhanced stipend, laboratory expenses and university fees for four years.

Sainsbury Undergraduate Studentships

This program identifies excellent second-year undergraduates with an interest in plant science and supports them to continue in the subject through summer research projects in laboratories. The studentships are used to fund placement in research laboratories, the cost of field work or attendance at plant science-related conferences, and the purchase of books or subscriptions to journals and scientific magazines.
